I’m a born and raised Dallasite. My Dad is first generation Mexican-American and my mom is Costa Rican. I attended the DISD system in East Dallas. Starting with Alex Sanger, Lakewood, JL Long and graduated in from Woodrow Wilson in 2000. I attended Richland college and the University of Texas at Arlington before deciding I wanted to enter a nursing career in 2016. I obtained my nursing degree from Collin College in 2017. I started my healthcare career as a firefighter/paramedic in 2009 where I discovered my passion for helping people during their time of need. Making 30 calls in a 24 hour period will take a toll on your health. So I looked for other avenues of helping people from a less stressful perspective. I’d always favored the more alternative forms of healthcare. My father was the one who introduced me to chiropractic healthcare. It was one of my chiropractors that first introduced me to ozone therapy. Which led me down a rabbit hole of research and resulted with me attending ozone therapy training sessions held by the President of the American Academy of Ozone Therapy, Dr. Frank Shallenberger, MD. I have also attended training on Orthomolecular medicine and Orthobiologic medicine. I tuned my healthcare passion into a passion for functional medicine and all of which it encompasses. Before founding Regen I worked for two other well known local IV infusion clinics. These clinics were founded and operated by lay people with no medical experience nor background. There was something about taking orders from someone that doesn’t have prescriptive authority let alone from a nonmedical professional that seem to be inherently wrong. So my wife suggested we start our own clinic with the proper legal structure to be successful. This was the genesis for Regen IV Wellness.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My wife Alissa and I will be celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary in October of this year. We have 3 kids, Zoë 8, Saylor 5 and Mathéo 3. All have attended Spanish World School. Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I started my career as a firefighter/paramedic, then I transitioned to nursing as an ER RN. I worked for a couple of local outpatient infusion clinics. I love listening to our client’s stories about how we have helped them overcome their illness/pain and/or regain their health.
