A few bullets about me I am loud. at least my kids say that…I am trustworthy…I love to volunteer…this brings me joy..I love my family….I am committed to my community, loyal to my friends and family, and passionate about making a difference in someones else’s life.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I am a mom to 3 incredible children who are grown and in medical/graduate/undergrad still. My husband of 27 years is my best friend! I have 3 dogs totaling 225 lbs and a cat
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
My past, current, and future career is as a real estate advisor which I have been for the past 26 years. I have the best job because it’s constantly changing and evolving. I get to learn new things every day while helping my clients realize their real estate dreams.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I have lived in East Dallas for 30 years now.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
There are so many interesting people in our community, I’m not sure I can name just one but If I have to name one it would be Gary Griffith. He is a natural-born leader and a giver
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I would travel to Bora Bora and I would stay in one of the houses built on stilts over the water because it looks beautiful and peaceful

Shawshank – it’s always on TV
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Surround yourself with people that truly love you and make you feel good

Travel! Travel! Travel!

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Coldwell Banker which began as Whiteside Associates. It’s where I learned real estate with some of the best realtors currently still in business. We were one large family at the time who truly cared about each other. There were several ‘mom and pop’ real estate offices that were committed to our community and helping each other
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Jeff Rotmeyer – He is all about spreading kindness by providing shelter, care, and jobs for the homeless and also making a difference for children and adults with autism and down syndrome. We would eat on the patio at Lakewood Country Club
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
It’s like living in a small town where everyone knows each other
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I see myself still on Avalon and hopefully traveling

I can be quiet sometimes

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My kids inspire me to be better. They remind me how to be a better communicator and challenge myself daily
Q: How do you ignite kindness in your community?
Igniting Kindness isn’t just one simple action. It’s a multitude of actions – helping others who cannot help themselves, teaching/showing your children how to help others. We do this at our house by volunteering for things we are individually passionate about. Mine is helping others by providing food and other services but without ‘red tape.’
