Kindness in Real Estate: Scott Lamberty’s Mission to Elevate Lives in East Dallas

I have lived in the Metroplex since 1984 and got to East Dallas as fast as I could! East Dallas is my favorite part of the city, as it’s like a small town in a big city. It’s given me a tremendous amount of gratification to introduce people to local non-profits, connect non-profit leaders to each other, and impact people’s lives. One of these non-profits, Well Grounded Coffee Community, has been a great meeting place for me. Seeing people get second chances to thrive, grow, and learn how to lift up their families is really inspiring and never gets old.

I served on the Board of the Friends of the Bathhouse Cultural Center. The Bathhouse, situated in White Rock Lake Park, is the crown jewel of the city’s six cultural centers. They provide affordable and quality theatre, art exhibits, and cultural enrichment for the whole community. Dia de los Muertos, Art Mart, and Lake-a-Palooza have become yearly staples for thousands of people.

East Dallas Networking (EDN) and the East Dallas Chamber of Commerce have afforded me the opportunity to make lasting friendships with other entrepreneurs, business owners, and organizations. Strategizing with these leaders on how to advance business objectives has benefited me. Seeing the East Dallas Community rally around EDN/Chamber member and local business owner Jesse Simmons since he was shot in a robbery has been moving. Friend’s of the Bathhouse, WGCC, Miles of Freedom, Annie’s Place, Restorative Farms, and Givingmas are some of the East Dallas non-profits I have tried to impact.
